The foundation aims to help people in need
We are Dasvandh Care Foundation, a volunteer-run NGO driven by the Sikh principle of Dasvandh, which means dedicating one-tenth of our honestly earned income to help those in need. Our mission is to provide financial assistance to the underprivileged, with a focus on education and essential needs, embodying the Sikh philosophy of "Sarbat da Bhala" (good for everyone).
We aim to uplift financially challenged families by ensuring their children, especially girls, have access to quality education. Our broader vision is to build a community rooted in Sikh values, where everyone is empowered to lead a better life and contribute positively to society.
Our immediate focus is on funding the education of children from financially stressed families. We also provide financial assistance for medical, social, and other urgent needs, ensuring timely support through our dedicated volunteers.
We aspire to establish a world-class educational institute for children from underprivileged backgrounds. This institute will not only offer top-tier education but also instill Sikh values, history, and martial arts, nurturing a new generation of educated and efficient individuals who uphold the principles of Sikhism.
Our funding comes from the collective contributions of our volunteers and supporters who believe in the principle of Dasvandh. Each member donates a portion of their income, time, and energy to support our cause, ensuring that our initiatives are sustained and impactful.
Join us in our mission to make the world a better place. We welcome motivated individuals to volunteer their time, energy, and finances. Reach out to us through our social media handles or our website, and become a part of our community dedicated to "Sarbat da Bhala." Together, we can create a brighter future for everyone.
